Copper Rose is a smooth blend of red, gold and white rocks. These rocks are nice and durable and have some beautiful striation in the individual pieces. It lays down to have a soft pink look to the rock.
Using decorative rock, decomposed granite, crushed stone and gravel in your landscaping saves you time and money but can also increase property value. Grass is great and a healthy lawn is a vital part of most homes, but usually best for small areas in the back yard to relax on. In front and side of landscape area it requires regular mowing, fertilizer, and irrigation that can be eliminated.
The use of decorative rock as a landscape ground cover or rock mulch to save water needs to be attractive to be effective. We believe that in most residential landscape and garden installation circumstances this is best done with 3/8" screened rock.

Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet.
In most cases we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very in-accurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips and or dumps were made in loading the truck?
Architects, public agencies, contractors and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, amount and date needed and buyers contact information. We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.

Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
